Default imap configuration - default folders?

Hello all.

I am wondering how one goes about configuring new email accounts (sitewide) to have certain folders by default? For example, a user creates an email account - user@example.com and by default has "inbox" and "trash" as subscribed folders using IMAP.

How can I make it so that they have "inbox", "trash", "sent", and maybe "junk" or "drafts"?

I guess I need a Linux server guru... Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks!
