Default Time zone

Hello, I installed a web package that show segment information in time. I understand that this package takes the time zone of the VPS. My question is how to change the time zone of VPS server?

Greetings,
Harold

Greetings,

First login to WHM.

Then choose Server Time under Server Configuration.

Pick your time zone.

Questions?

Another one method:
1). Login via ssh in your VPS
2). Go to the time zone directory
#cd /usr/share/zoneinfo
3). Copy the your timezone in to the localtime zone for the VPS. UTC for curent example.
#cp UTC /etc/localtime
4). Type "y" to overwrite the current timezone
5). Check the time
#date
The three character timezone abbreviation should be changed.

Duh! Why do it the hard way when the easy way takes less than a minute to do?

Inquiring minds want to know.
