Does anyone know what the command in SSH would be to (upload) recursively ftp a copy of all the contents of /backups on IP of server "A" out to /backups on IP of server "B"? When SSHing into server "A".
Or should I log into server "B" and download from "A"? Thanks. |

you could do something like this:
# cd /home/backups HostICan - Support - Pre-Sales, E-Mail, and so many more answers... :: SSH wget and mirror file copy (super fast) Just running that command in your /home would rysnc all of it to the other location.

Do you know of any scripts that will do an auto export of each MySQL on the server, maybe using cron or something like that? - Thanks. |

Oh oh... /backups are in root of the VPS (above home, etc.) Wget cannot access this? Wget can only access a directory within home - So, not working here.
The "backups" are the ones created by cPanel at night (daily) and include the full and per account MySQL backups as well. Can I use SSH to "send" the to another server (from my VPS's to my dedicated)? Is there something that would work like a "wput" (if we had a wput)? Thanks. ** Update ** Oh gosh, there really is a wput!! Check this out: Home of wput Is there a way we can get this installed on the VPS's and Dedicated's? Or, more to the point, just a blurb in the knowledge base telling us how to install it? Is that possible? Will it be able to upload files above /home, if we first login via root/ssh?
