My free for life domain name has expired. My VPS account just autorenewed for another year. That's fine, I've been satisfied with the QOS. My problem is that my free domain name that comes with the VPS package has not renewed and now the VPS is becoming unreachable. I've submitted a support ticket, however they don't seem to understand what happened. The problem is my fault starting with my original activation, I did not fully understand the process and the account was established under a domain I owned with another registrar. I contacted support at that time and actually got to talk to a live person (which I seem to be unable to do now) and he setup up my free domain and I set the VPS hostname up with it. All has worked fine for a year, now that my free domain has not auto-renewed along with my VPS, it's going down. Is it possible to at least get my domain back, or even better attach my VPS to my Hostican free domain instead of my other registrar domain. I hope somebody that can help me, understands my situation. TIA Dave

UPDATE!! I finally got through to a human being at support, he renewed my free domain and changed it to attach to my VPS. He did state that he couldn't set it up to auto-renew and I would need to remind them at renewal time. That'll work, I'm happy to report I'm back in business, my server can now be found. Once I was able to vocalize my problem, support came through! Thanks Hostican, Dave
