Hello Everyone-
I have a customer who cannot see their domain name. When they try to go to the domain name via www they cannot access it. They can however access the general IP of the server. I know the site is up because i can get to it. This sounds like a ISP problem to me. Does anyone know if there is a server workaround or if they would need to contact their ISP? Alternatively, is there a way I can send them to their site via IP? IPADDRESS/Their Site or something like that? Thank you! |

Hey - Thanks for posting.
There are a couple of ways. For example, to validate everything is fine, you can try via a proxy service such as proxify.com or hidemyass.com there you will be using another server to pull up the site... and see what it should be saying..... If the above is working fine. It sounds like a DNS cache issue or an ISP issue. She may need to wait up to 72 hours... if shes already waited this long... then what she may need to do is reset her cable modem. You can always send her to see her site by either giving her a dedicated IP or http://your-ip-address/~herusername
