Yea, I can't wait to start using 11.24, as we have some new systems that need this version (at least) to work. So it will be cool, we'll leave it another week or two, let cPanel fix most of the major bugs and we will upgrade to it too :P

Inxcode, can you please post an update in here, whenever it is that you choose to update your systems?

Sure, that won't be a problem. I would be glad to.

So, how has your experience been with 11.24 as yet?

We've been playing with 11.24. I will tell you, it looks great, but we're waiting for it to become more "release" "stable" before we upgrade all the servers to them. I wouldn't upgrade nor would I recommend upgrading as yet.

I upgraded two VPS accounts to 11.24 last week after cPanel put it on the "release" tree, and both upgrades went smoothly. I haven't noticed any difference from 11.23.x.

i also upgraded to Dovecot using the instructions in the release notes, and that also went well.

What I have noticed is that since upgrading to 11.23.6 Virtuozzo reports my system resources are at 100%--thought the meter stays all green and I don't get any QoS alerts--after a few hours. That has remained the case with 11.24. Restarting MySQL drops the resource usage to about 35%, but it creeps back up after a few hours.

I did discover that some WHM Plugins, namely ConfigServer Mail Queues, ConfigServer Mail Manage, and LogView, were broken after the upgrade. I haven't checked them in a while, so they may have been broken with an earlier cPanel update. I'm wondering if my resource issue might be from LogView...

I uninstalled and reinstalled all of them, restarted MySQL, and my resources are back down to ~35%. Only time will tell if that was the problem.
