Default Copy folder in VPS

Can you folks help me with the command that will let me copy an entire folder using SSH?

Sure, what you need is the following command:

# cd /home/
# mv file /home/bla....

mv = Move file = name of file /home/bla = new location

does that copy or move?

i use:
cp -r sourcefolder destination

man page for cp
UNIX man pages : cp ()

man page for mv
UNIX man pages : mv ()
