Excellent improvement. But today was a bit of a pain in buying and activating one. The demand was so high, the servers at AT&T and Apple could barely keep up.

Only for a few hours Friday morning. Things are pretty good now, and Apple sold one million units that first three-day weekend.

A friend of mine bought an IPhone a week before the G3 came out... and hes really pissed now :P - esp when he asked the apple ppl at the store and they said there wasn't a new one...

Nonsense. The G3 was preannounced for weeks, and there's a 30-day return option on the product if he wants to trade up.
