Default Domains

I currently have an account with you and I was wondering if you register domain names? Or, if you could recommend a good site which allows a quick and easy transfer to my hosting account here?

Yes we do. Contact sales.

Other places that do good work include:

Namecheap.com - Cheap domain name registration, renewal and transfers - Free SSL Certificates - Web Hosting - Free URL Forwarding, e-mail forwarding and DNS services are included with our cheap domain names registration service

Register Domain Names with moniker.com

I use the latter, actually.

I presume this is a shared account, right?

If so, the information is contained in this support document:

Yes Shazam, this is a shared account. I logged into my account at 1&1 and changed the dns to the hostican servers. Is this all I need to do? I guess I just don't get how this will show up on my hostican account so I will be able to make changes to this new site in cpanel.

It normally takes anywhere from a few hours up to 48 hours. But you should see it soon.

OK the new domain has been pointed to hostican servers, I have created the add-on domain, and I used fantasico to load wordpress onto it but, I'm getting a 404 error when I try to go to newdomain.com/wp-admin/ ? When I go directly to newdomain.com I get redirected to hostican.com . Any ideas what i'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,
Jabroni

As I said, it can take a day or two for the process to complete.

OK I thought it was already complete when it displayed the hostican site instead of the 1&1 site. I'll just wait a couple days now. Thanks for all your help.
