Affiliate Program

Hi again!
I signed up for the affiliate program, with the only intention of earning a commission from when I have my clients sign up. Is there a point in the signup where they would enter my user name for referral? Or do I have to give them one of those click through links?

function, just send them your affiliate link when they sign up. Tell them to use this link to signup.

I do this for myself when signing up clients.
