URGENT : Internal Server Error

hi i make a mistake and i did using ssh

chown -R root /*

now we can't access the website,

any help?

It seems you've changed file owner.

Where did you runt his command? There are many places and a few very very very bad places to run this kind of command. Please let us know more so we can help you out of this. However, we must know where EXACTLY it was run.

That doesn't sound good at all, you may just want to do a full backup, and have us re-install the whole VPS as it has just really messed up the permissions - this would be faster then fixing them manually...
