Server Reboot Emails
My site/email was down today, so I sent a support ticket at 2:44 PM EST. I noticed the site was down around 2:15 PM EST.
2:51 PM EST - HIC - "Were currently rebooting shared hosting server, it will be up shortly."
3:09 PM EST - ME - "What's the ETA for this ("shortly" is very subjective)? Was this planned maintenance?
3:11 PM EST - HIC - "This was an emergency reboot and was not announced due to the critical nature of the issue."
My suggestion is to address all questions asked, not the ones support wants. I specially asked for an ETA and it was ignored. Instead, I had to sent another reply asking them to address the question I previously posed again. If there is no ETA, then state that. All I ask is that you address/acknowledge the questions in your reply. Currently, my site/email is down...
