Question CentOS upgrade

Is there any planing in the works to have the systems Dedicated and VPS ported to CentOS 5? I'm seeing more and more (php app) requirements for CentOS 5.

Full updates for CentOS 4 ended on Feb 29, 2008 and maintenance updates are scheduled to end on Feb 29, 2012. However CentOS developers say that for CentOS 4 "...There will be few, if any, Update Sets released..."

Centos 5 currently has full update to Mar 31st, 2010

CentOS 5 is a great OS. However, it has quite a few very intresting things in it too. Personally, if you are using CentOS 4.x currently and are happy with what its doing... then I would leave it alone.

The last thing you want to do is update / upgrade something and have it go pear shaped on you....

So for the time being, the answer is no, there is no planned migration to CentOS 5.x
