Independant Review - September, 2007 Uptime / Downtime / Speed Reports

Hi everyone,

I just released my September statistics for HostICan. It details server uptime, server downtime, and ping speed reports.

My ping reports are based on visit + full page download = time in ms reported. These aren't standard small byte pings that everyone else is used to. These are actual robot-visits that download the entire page. Since my site is a blog, it takes a bit for the main page to load so the times reported are considered FAST by me.

It should be mentioned I am not a HostICan employee. My site is completely mine. HostICan doesn't tell me what I can or cannot post on the blog.

Also, the outage reported on my site is completely documented. HostICan migrated to a bigger data center which requires physical server relocation. I was happy to see an outage maintenance window emailed to me which I have also documented on the site.

There were zero outages this month that weren't planned. Very impressed.

Yep, just hope eyes will read someday. New sites are such a struggle.

I know from past exp with other sites I've worked on that any new site takes a while to get rolling... just nature I guess taking advantage of us in the cyber world :P
