Arrow Cannot access email after domain add-on and new email account set up

Hello,

It's been a while since I have been on the community board...........but I'm back!

I need some help understanding where I went wrong;

1. I did the DNS name update for my new domain name.
2. I did the Add-on domain sequence.
3. I created new email address' for the new domain
4. I sent test emails to the new email address'.

Now here's where it get's quirky. I can literally see my domain add-on and email address'. However, when I try to loggin to the email accounts via webmail I get "login failed". At the bottom of my email page in cPanel it tells me my "default account has been set......." I check the default account (which I did not set) and it says "no such user here". (this is showing on my original email account. Which did previously work.

To say I am confused is putting it mildly. I know it's something I probably did in error, but I have no idea what I did.

Also, when I created the Add-on, a sub-domain was automatically created and reads like this: mynewdomainaddon.originaldomainname.com. Should this have occured?

Some guidance from my Guru's would be so greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Ok, sure thats not a problem.

1. When you create an addon domain it always creates a subdomain as well, its just the cPanel way...

2. How are you trying to login to webmail? you@yourdomain.com or?

3. The default email address is known as the "catchall" email address that we do not support in our network due to issues with being attacked by spam bots in the past, so this feature is disabled.

4. what is your domain name so I can check the NS servers and the MX records.

Does the site work, just the email or?
