Default ssl access to cpanel

Since I was transfered to Esc11 server, I may no more access to cpanel in SSL mode. Accepting the certificate produces the error msg

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@esc11.hostican.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I wrote to the support. They told me I had to buy a certificate to access the cpanel via SSL. Seems very strange to me. Have anybody an idea about what makes the problem ?

Are you referring to SSL login to cpanel which is on port 2083 yourdomain.com <-- really doesn't make any diffrence... http or https in the long run of things.

Indeed it functions mentionning the port number like https://mydom.com:2083 , thank you. I'd prefer without the port number but it is better than nothing. I use this to avoid my pwd to be sniffed.

Glad that you got it resolved.
