secure FTP

I need a secure FTP software. I agree to pay the license. The important thing is to be credible. Currently use an FTP client, but it is very sluggish

Secure would be SFTP. That mode is include in all FTP products that I know about. What OS are you using? It's easier to recommend a client with that information.

If you make a FTP connection, traffic can be compressed during transfer, and the transfer will be faster with 40% compared with SFTP method. SFTP is also slow because use secure encryption. I think the problem is not in your FTP client. Everything is as it should be.

I`m using Filezilla. This is free software with many features.
In your case are the perfect solution:
Supports FTP, FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

There is also WinSCP but i would recommend FileZilla

You should note that secureFTP (sFTP) is encrypting data and it is always slower that regular FTP.
