Hi all, I'm new in the hosting and now study the settings in cpanel. With cpanel work is easy and intuitive, now create few mailboxes, but have the option to use two types mail.servers - with and without SSL. Had particular meaning what would I choose?
Thanks in advance, Aden |

Aden - Welcome to the HostiCan Community Forum!!
I would use the "regular" versaion without SSL, it works better and is less problems in the long run and short term (on terms of configuration)...

I disagree. I think that any protection is better than none at all.

Remember that enabling SSL will only encrypt logins between you and your email server in both directions. If you want more than that, you'd have to get involved with digitally signed messages and such.

I'd like to give good advice of Aden. I made a very good decision which I believe to accomplish. I and my colleagues use Rage hosting plan and will build a openvpn server. Easy work with very good protective effect.
