In awstats under the sub heading "Links from an Internet Search Engine" there are two columns for example:
"Google 9897 9896" What does the second column mean? And under the subheading "Links from an external page (other web sites except search engines)", there are alos two columns like this example: http://reddit.com/r/gaming/ 2530 2862 Again, what does the second column mean (or the first for that matter too!) What's the difference between the two? Thanks to whoever can help! Cheers! ![]() |

Click Full List under search engines and you'll see the breakdown. First is pages. Second is hits. If you have a lot more in the second column, your getting direct hits to your images or something else that is not a webpage.
The above answer answers your second question as well. Pages versus hits. For external pages, the 2 columns are usually the same unless coming from an unknown search engine which has indexed your images.
