Default Google Analytics

Anyone tried Google.com/analytics ?

I am trying it out now..so far, it has been pretty much interesting .. if you have an adwords account, it can be linked to this one and easy to manage.. this could be the best free web stats that you can get

Yup they are okay. They have been around for a bit though. And improved when they took over urchin. For those that have not updated their embedded analytics code, remember there is a new script (been out for a few months) - I'm still seeing some sites using the old script.

If you are using it for sometime now, I do not see an option to see monthly stats.. is it abailable ... ? page views per month etc ?

To see monthly stats, log into analytics and look at your list of domains. To the right of the domain you want to see click the "View reports" button.

You are now on the dashboard page. On the upper right just beside the date is a drop-down arrow. Click that arrow and just select the date range you want. Feb 01 -29 (of 2008) for example and you'll get the month.

Cheers!

Analytics is great for providing some information, but not perfect. Anyone who has JS disabled will not be reported here.

I've been using it for a month now. Not too impressed EXCEPT for the site overlay features that allow you to see what people are clicking.
