Deep Link Submission-Good or Bad?
What is Deep Link Submission?
Deep submission is the process of submitting your site’s each and every page to search engine. Logically, if you will submit only index page to the search engine, then also it will automatically crawl all interlinked pages. So, I think that deep submission is only wastage of time and database space of site submitter as well as of search engine respectively. But this statement varies from one search engine to different search engine.
Why people do deep submission?
Most of the site owners do deep submission to be get ensured that all pages of their site is submitted and crawled by search engine crawler. And some time it actually happens that search engine crawler ignore some pages of site and as a result of that pages remain un submitted.
When you submit the index page of your site to a search engine, after particular duration search engine sends a “spider” or “bot” or “robot” to look at your page and put the data of that page in the search engines index or data base. Most of the time it happens that spider will follow the links on your main page and pick up some of the inner pages (for example, Google) but sometimes they don’t go deep enough into the site and only one or two of your pages are indexed or crawled.
