Default Re-Selling w/ tera-host?

Are we allowed to re-sell w/ tera-host plan? or w/ the base-host (though I don't think would want to)? I really don't plan to, but if the oppertunity arises, perhaps I might.

Also, I know you guys have that 30-day money back guarantee... But lets say I got a 24-month plan ('cause the monthly rate is cheaper) and after, lets say 6-8 months, I decied I no longer with to have service. Do I loose the entire amount I paid for the 24-Month deal, or is it prorated for what I used?

Lastly, I thought I seen on your site somewhere about the different add-ons that are available, but I cannot find it now, any help, please

Thanks again!

Thanks for your post.

Reselling with the Tera-Host is strongly forbidden. If we find that you are, we will terminate the account due to violation of our terms. Not to mention that it would be hard to resell since, they wouldn't have access to:

- Email Accounts
- PHP settings
- SSL
- etc...

Reselling is possible via the VPS-Rage service (HostICan - Virtual Private Servers (VPS) Hosting). You would be able to resell off that platform more.

I guess the first question would be, why would you want to leave in the mid of the account?

Addons are offered on: https://secure.hostican.com/billing/addonservices.php

Thanks for the info... Guess I didn't look at the TOS close enough and is why I ask before buying...

As for why I would want to leave in the middle of service, I wouldn't know, but thought I'd ask incase a situation would arise that would make it happen...

oh yeah.. Just thought of another question... If I were to choose your base-host plan, which as a bandwidth limit of 2,500 GB, how would I transfer my current web site to your host? I currently have it hosted on a computer in my basement (which I'm tired of serviceing) and my web site is all pictures & short video's (both of which I took myself) that take up a little over 6 GB... How would this work? A temperary exception 'till I get it all uploaded?

Thanks!

6GB, whoa. The faster your upload speed, the faster you can get your hosting working with HostICan.

The easiest way I've found is to package all the smaller files into a zip file then upload that to HostICan. You can use cPanel's File manager to extract the zip file on any of HIC's plans.

The larger video files upload separately overnight using FTP and you'll be set by tomorrow.

Obviously, depending on the speed of your ISP, this would take several hours of uploading.

But once the site is set up here, you can point your nameservers to HostICan. But till then, leave things as they are.

In a situation like this, as the new nameservers propogate, which can take up to 72 hours normally (and worse in some overseas markets apparently), you try to keep from updating your old site, so there's no content disparity. You can, however, update your new site.

Perhaps I needed to be more clear w/ my question, when I upload all those pictures and videos', wouldn't that put me over the alotted bandwith of the month (2,500 MB)? Or is that limit for download only?

That's 2,500GB, and it's bandwidth, not storage space.
