 Importing mysql database
I set up a new account and have begun the process of uploading my content. One of the items I'm struggling with is the database for my phpbb forum. I exported the database from my old account and cannot seem to get it imported into the new account. I created a database with the same name as the database I had before. I then go into MYPHPADMIN to import the file and after about 10 minutes or so of waiting for it to load, I get the following error message: MySQL said: Documentation #1044 - Access denied for user 'itsmygal'@'localhost' to database 'ProShow04' I don't know what this means. I've tried contacting support, but all I get is the option to leave a message. Chat is currently not available, either. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! Mike  |

You need a program called BigDump BigDump: The Staggered MySQL Dump Importer This allows you to import massive databases into your account using staggered bursts to prevent timeouts, etc. Hope this helps.
