Hello,
I'm trying to log in to remotely administer MySQL on my shared hosting account. I am connecting with MySQL Admin from a windows XP machine. Here's what i've tried: -adding my ip address to "Remote Database Access Hosts" -connecting on port 3306 to the same IP address that i use for logging in to cpanel (minus the ort at the end)-Even tried putting my pc in the dmz of my local network to rule out my firewall. Any suggestions? |

Privatejocker86 - Welcome to the HostICan Community forum.
Remote MYSQL isn't supported on our shared hosting accounts. It hasn't been supported for about 3 years. This is because when we did offer it, folks would abuse the MySQL and cause issues within our servers.
