I hope movie theathers don't count here since I am deaf and have to wait for it to come out on DVD to read the close captioning.

The latest movie I have seen is probably Mr. Woodc**k (trying to keep it clean but I didn't name the movie), it was okay, not the best.

The greatest movies, I could give you a list but here are just 5 of them for now, (in no particular order)

Popeye (the one with Robin Williams)
The Godfather series
Under the Sun
Empire of the Sun
The Gods Must Be Crazy

A true movie buff here.

Recent movies that are worth a view:

Current Movies
Iron Man - a must see. (paid to see it twice already)
The Forbidden Kingdom - not bad, could have been better, but it is a better telling of the Monkey King saga; there's a great action sequence with Jackie Chan and Jet Li

Recent DVD Views
Lucky# Slevin - unexpectedly good
Good Luck Chuck(unrated) - the unrated version is good
30 Days of Night - a very good vamp tale

My Faves
Valmont - just excellent
Man Who Would Be King - great movie
The Thing - when horror movies were truly horror movies
Transformers - Just awesome (paid to see it twice and bought the DVD which I play on a regular)
300 - "This is Sparta!" need I say more
Underworld and Underworld Evolution - well done for such a small budget
Pretty Women - a very good Cinder Tale
Jaws

Just Awful Movies
Little Nicky - what were they thinking

I could go on...and on.......

Just saw the DVD of "Charlie Wilson's War" with Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Fabulous film, sparkling dialog, and disarmingly funny.
