Well said Shazam! I don't know about other's on this forum, but I find I almost always have to tweak CSS (and other coding) fixes for IE - Not other browsers.

If I have to code one more IE fix, tweak, I'm going to have an aneurysm *poof*
Web/coding standards are there for a reason. Bucking the system/standards simply aggravates the heck out of developers.

Yes! Exactly. Geez, how many CSS comments specifying IEFIX. Ugh! Microsoft's not supporting standards is what is killing them. The fact is, developers use Firefox. Developers can spread the world too.

The day developers stop creating sites that require Internet Explorer will be one for celebration by all Internet users.

And maybe Microsoft will learn from it and make an effort to support Web standards. But I'm not holding my breath

Yes, I was referring to the Jave Runtime Environment, JRE. I'm not certain at all if that's the root of the problem.

This guy seems to have the same problem.

Javascript Myself To Death: The Web Is One Big Runtime Error!

After browsing the web a little, it seems like these IE 7 javascript syntax errors are occuring for some other people as well.

I've got Google Toolbar and Roboform installed, the NET framework 2.0, JRE, Sygate Firewall, and Norton Antivirus Corporate 9.0.0.338 installed on Windows XP.

Hey that's cool. The Hostican website isn't giving me any popup errors any more. Did you guys fix it? I did notice that there was a couple of Windows Updates coming down the stream yesterday. I don't know if it was something that was repaired in those or whether the Hostican people fixed it.

On that Speedsyndicate.net site, every time I clicked Skip Flash, it would shut down IE 7 completely without any warning. That was strange! Maybe my IE 7 was really buggered up.

Hmm, IE7 to the rescue. I also use roboform but I don't use IE and therefore told Microsoft where they can put their IE7 update.

Glad its fixed though.
