HTML / Design Are you a designer? Or just trying to become one? Great! You'll be able to talk about layouts, and HTML code to help your fellow designers, so everyone can work together to master the tricks of the trade. (Maybe even some JavaScript too!)

Anyone have any comments on this?

I don't know if this helps anyone... but..

Basically it would be code on external page that makes a call to the database to look for a users avatar information.
  1. Get users id
  2. Connect to "customavatar" table
  3. Get data from the "dateline" field
  4. Construct the link code: image.php? + u=(userid) + &dateline=(unixtime stamp)
PHP Code:
image.php?u=1&dateline=1199583578
Sounds easy enough, does anyone want to do it for me or am I going to have to code it? lol

Yeah I'm just not a great coder! = ) I actually ended up saying screw wordpress, and am now designing a website that incorporates vBulletin into the design.

So basically the forums will be used to write articles and such... all comments will be kept in the forums, with a display of the number of comments under the articles, or perhaps outputing the latest 10 posts from that article beneath it or something.

Now that sounds like a challenge... one I'm not going to try cause I suck at coding... and I'll be the first to admit it.

That might be true, but your knowledge of Linux servers is awesome.
