I was hoping there is a setting I can change in WHM to grant a database user these priveledges, but I'm not sure if this can be done.

But I just spent over an hour trying to get my domain working as the primary for my new VPS-Rage system. And no go.

So could someone please help me out. I went back to original config.

I have my domain with GoDaddy. So now knowing that. Could someone please walk me through how to setup the primary domain on my VPS? When I say walkthrough it's complete. I mean how do I bind it at GoDaddy to my servers IP. Then how do I setup the new nameservers for that domain and then how do I setup WHM to work completely so that when I start adding domains to the new nameservers (eg. ns1.mydomain.com) they work completely and the mail is collected correctly? In other words I need a step by step what to do to get up and running with my primary so everything is working right.

Thanks in advance, this would be a great help. I have until Monday afternoon to make this work. My hosting account at my old place expires on Tue., so I have to transfer everything over fast.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem that does not resolve itself. I have to have the server restarted. (So if I wake up in the morning and notice my databases aren't working, it could mean my sites have been unusable theoretically for 10 hours straight without my knowledge.)

This is a big problem for me of course.

I am going to work under the assumption that the problem is memory usage (not disk space). Although, I use two big scripts (phpBB2 and Wordpress), I have many little scripts (like 'contact us' forms, email subscriber lists, etc.) that are more likely poorly programmed and have memory leaks, open too many SQL connections, etc.

How would I identify which scripts/pages are the memory-hogs?

Also, is there a way to set it up so that I receive an email when the databases aren't working or when memory usage is starting to get too high?

Also, does anyone know of any modifications for phpBB2 or Wordpress (besides Wordpress Super Cache which I already have) that would lower memory usage?
