Funny you should mention that, I have worked out the specs for my next Windows machine (sorry Shazam, I am a total Windows guy). It includes a Core 2 Quad Q6600 chip overclocked from 2.6Ghz to 3.0Ghz. It will, fly!
Not only that but I am putting in 2 sticks of 2GB RAM each, Windows Vista 64 Bit (to handle more RAM), and the latest nVidia 8800GT video card. It should do well. My problem is I am using all new parts so I have to wait a month or two for supply to meet demand. Seagate also has a new HDD they released. 7200.11 beats the transfer speeds of the 150GB Raptors that were much sought after only a couple months ago. It's been a few years since my ast build (AMD) and I can't wait.
