1). Login to WHM on your server.
2). Click on the “Basic cPanel/WHM Setup”. Code:
Server Configuration
* Basic cPanel/WHM Setup
* Change Root Password
* Initial Quota Setup
* Server Time
* Statistics Software Configuration
* Tweak Settings
* Update Config
normally using: Code:
ns1.yourdomain.com ns2.yourdomain.com 3). Now I need to create the zone file for “yourdomain.com” in my server. Click on “Add a DNS Zone” under “DNS Functions” in the left-hand sidebar. Code:
DNS Functions
* Add a DNS Zone
* Add an A Entry for your Hostname
* Delete a DNS Zone
* Edit DNS Zone
* Edit MX Entry
* Edit Zone Templates
...............

The easiest way to run and manage your own nameservers is to use a cPanel/WHM control panel. With cPanel/WHM can easily add/modify/delete domain names. All you need to do is to have an registered domain name and assigned two IP addresses to your server IP ranges. HostICan offers:
1). IP addresses - 5 2). Allow domain registration from here - Domain Registration Services 3). Control Panel - cPanel/WHM This mean that HostICan hosting services are compatible for the building of nameservers. |
