Not to fully disagree, but if you've never installed any software in this fashion before, I'd go with Denis. Otherwise, it's not really hard to do.

Default When Fantastico is ready

Will it be a one click upgrade to 2.5? What about if I am only at 2.3?

Default How about a list of 2.5 compatible themes

Where can we find such a thing? I am thinking of changing my theme but I want to make sure I choose a 2.5 theme.

Go to the WordPress.org site and you'll find plenty to choose from.

But for the most part, properly coded themes ought to work fine after the upgrade.

Default WordPress 2.5 upgrade

Upgrading the WordPress to 2.5 is highly recommended due to a seriuous security holes have been patched. Fantastico has added the newest version of WordpPress too.

The reason I was asking was to get exact themes people have tried. I got a theme that said it was 2.5 compatible and I am having problems. I'm hoping it is a plug in issue or something else but it might be the theme.

Help me with my problems!

It would help if you provided some specific details of your problems. Most themes ought to work just fine with WP 2.5.

When it comes to plugins, however, you might want to consult this list:
