I just saw how the admin section of wordpress 2.4, release is going to be.. take a look here

Don't like the orange bar but loved the comment with number on it to show how many comments are waiting for approval.

The news today is that WordPress 2.4 will never appear. Instead, they are moving direct to WordPress 2.5, to be released (at least so far) in March.

They bit off more than they could chew it appears from the following:

Yeah, its almost worth of 3.0 status it seems with all the changes in store. Thanks for the update.

I started later than that, but it has definitely improved a fair amount. Or maybe I just understand it better. In any case, one hopes there will be no further delays or excuses for the next version.

I wouldn't want them to take too many hints from Microsoft.

LOL. Nobody can be as bad as Microsoft with the whole Vista fiasco. They REMOVED everything I wanted including new file system leaving a newly skinned XP with bugs. I havent upgraded and I think they rused SP1 out too. I plan to think about it after SP2 when things aren't so rushed.

Indeed, this is an area where Apple smokes Microsoft time and time again. Apple, these days, rarely misses its deadlines.
