Hi all, I am new in the web hosting and I begin with WordPress. I get help from a skilled guy and he send me a new robot.txt example file and he told me that I need to edit my robot.txt file because WordPress possible to make duplicate content issue. Is it true? I don`t want to disturb my known assistant with more question.

I have never heard of this problem but you should have ready robot.txt file in your hosting account you can use it. If u know what to edit in this file do it, implementing an effective SEO robots.txt file for WordPress will help your blog to rank higher in Search Engines, receive higher paying relevant Ads, and increase your blog traffic. This is a good example for WordPress robot.txt:
