Default Secure Link on Affiliate Page

Hello,

I just signed for the affiliate program and am reviewing the hosting as well. So far everything looks really good and the comments at webhostingtalk are very positive. I'm considering recommending hostican to all my clients. . .

I just noticed that on this page:

HostICan Affiliate Program - Web Hosting Affiliate Program & Marketing

the "View Stats" link takes me to my account page (if I'm already logged in), but it's a non-secure link. Is that intentional? I can manually add the https to the URL and it connects me securely, but I thought you'd want to know about that in case. I'm just wondering if my login info is passed in the clear if I hit the http link.

Also, if I'm not logged in and log in from here:

The only link I can find for the affiliate login is from the Affiliates link in the header navigation and that also takes me here via a non-secure link:

HostICan Affiliate Program - The #1 Rated Web Hosting Affiliate Program

Again, maybe that's intentional, but I thought I'd mention it just in case

Thanks and I look forward to signing up soon!

Hello,

Thanks for letting me know about your concerns and wowes.

I will be glad to speak with the developers on how to get all this secure. I will make a poll about this in a few mins... to see what other affiliates think, and if https:// is required that is what we will do.

Thanks for letting me know, keep the suggestions comming.

Obvious, yes, the whole backend should be secure.

But you need to check current linkage. You don't want to cause any flags if you make the whole thing secure and have everyone linking to the http version.
